The greed of a few has placed the entire planet at risk. More than 80% of the earth’s food and resources is used and wasted by only 20% of the world's population — mainly those in developed nations. This inequality causes hunger and poverty worldwide, and sows the seeds of social unrest, terrorism, war, and environmental degradation.

The only way to peace

For the survival of present and future generations, we must call for a just re-distribution of the earth’s resources, so that all may have the basic necessities of life: food, shelter, health care and education.

We are not alone in our efforts

At this time of planetary crisis, a group of great spiritual Teachers has now returned to the everyday world to help us solve our most critical global problems. According to futurist Benjamin Creme*, these Masters of Wisdom, led by Maitreya, the World Teacher, are here to inspire and guide humanity in the creation of a new civilization based on sharing and justice and, therefore, peace. Their open work in the world is about to begin.

Maitreya’s social message can be summarized in a few words: “Share and save the world.” He knows we will accept His advice and that we are on the threshold of an era of peace and goodwill.

 

 

* BENJAMIN CREME, British author and lecturer, has been travelling the globe, helping to create a climate of hope and expectancy for Maitreya, the World Teacher. From 1975 to 1979, Creme lectured, by invitation, throughout Europe. During his first US tour in 1980, he spoke to large audiences in many major cities. Since the early 1980s, his tours have included Western and Eastern Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico and two trips a year through the US. The turning of the wheel

When men realize how close to self destruction they have come, they will shudder to think of the consequences of their actions. Seldom has there been a time when men faced such danger. Even in the worst adversity they have fought and tested themselves against fate. In recent times, however, men have so lost a sense of their direction that they have seemed oblivious to the danger facing them. That this danger and trial are largely of their own making is no doubt responsible for their equanimity and apparent indifference. When men know this, they will be astonished to learn how close to annihilation have their actions brought them. They have indeed diced with death, putting an inconceivable strain on Those Who are pledged to help them. Men, of course, know little or nothing of this escape, and continue blithely on their path. That this path leads only to a desert wasteland they have yet to understand, so steeped are they in materialistic ambition.

The light dawns
Great are the possibilities which await men’s creative efforts, however, and great will be their achievements when the light dawns and the blinkers drop from their eyes.

This realization will come when men turn inwards again, and find within their hearts the brotherhood and unity which all instinctively crave. Then will come the blossoming of new hope and inspiration, leading men to renew their upward climb, and to the creation of a better world. Simplicity and honest effort will replace the present corruption which stains every aspect of men’s lives today. Men will seek to emulate Maitreya and His group of Masters, and so purify their structures and standards.

With Maitreya and His group to guide them, men will grow to love the simplicity of the new structures, and in them find a deep satisfaction and coherence. They will feel at ease in a world shorn of competition and the tension which it brings. Working together in co-operation they will find a profound happiness and fulfilment in all that they do.

Maitreya will stint nothing of His help and advice, nor shall We, your Elder Brothers, in Our efforts to inspire the building of the new civilization. The wonders which will grace this coming edifice will delight and astonish all men. Each will have a part to play in its construction and all will give of their best in its achievement. Thus will it be.

 

 

This photo was taken by a German co-worker who writes: “... it was a dark and rainy day.... I noticed the eyes of a little girl sitting on the ground.... Next to her probably her young mother, a begger. Seeing both sitting on the street I thought: ‘Look at the expression on the little girl’s face, so much joy to live.... What a beauty and tragedy at the same time. We have to stop this poverty.”

Benjamin Creme’s Master confirmed in Share International magazine, June 2001, that this is a photo of Maitreya Who has assumed the guise of a young woman begging; the ‘little girl’ is in fact the Master Jesus, Who works closely with Maitreya.

 

Soon we will see Maitreya on the world’s major television networks, and hear His call for sharing and justice as the only way to peace.

 

He has been expected for generations by all of the major religions. Christians know him as the Christ, and expect his imminent return. Jews await him as the Messiah; Hindus look for the coming of Krishna; Buddhists expect him as Maitreya Buddha; and Muslims anticipate the Imam Mahdi or Messiah.

Although the names are different, many believe that they all refer to the same individual: the World Teacher, whose personal name is Maitreya (pronounced my-tray-ah).

Preferring to be known simply as the Teacher, Maitreya has not come as a religious leader, or to found a new religion, but as a teacher and guide for people of every religion and those of no religion.

At this time of great political, economic and social crisis Maitreya will inspire humanity to see itself as one family, and create a civilization based on sharing, economic and social justice, and global co-operation.

He will launch a call to action to save the millions of people who starve to death every year in a world of plenty. Among Maitreya’s recommendations will be a shift in social priorities so that adequate food, housing, education, and medical care become universal rights.

Under Maitreya’s inspiration, humanity itself will make the required changes and create a saner and more just world for all.
